Breathtaking Mt. Tarawera Volcano Floatplane Tour Rotorua

Wonderful, exhilirating flight on a perfect day. Our pilot was very warm, knowledgeable and professional. A great experience!!

It was such an awesome experience to see the nature from above. Floatplane was on my bucket list and I am happy I ended up with Volcanic Air.

Great scenic flight with pilot Ben. Very smooth take off and landing. Window seats for all passengers. Scenery was absolutely magnificent. Ben assisted me into and out of plane as I have Parkinson’s disease. Very thoughtful and patient. Would highly recommend this experience.

What a fabulous experience this was! Very nice people who organise the trips, an excellent pilot - Steve - who put us all at ease and delivered an informative and entertaining commentary throughout. We had superb views of the volcanoes and the lakes and have some superb photos and memories. Thank you!

We took this tour including a visit to the secret valley. Steve the pilot elected to go to the secret valley first as the weather had some low clouds we landed at the secret valley and enjoyed the walk around the thermal park. We then returned via the Mt Tarawera Volcano which he flew around to ensure everyone got good photo opportunities. Overall a very enjoyable trip with lots of interesting information.

An amazing trip taking off and landing on water flying close into the volcanic areas for great photos. The pilot was excellent and gave us some lovely views and a great commentary. Highly recommended
